Benedormiens Castle
Benedormiens Castle, located in the historical centre of Castell d'Aro, appears aforementioned for the first time in 1041. Until XVth century, the building had an important and defensive role in La Vall d'Aro area.
Nowadays it conserve a little bit of its original appearance because of the different reforms that has suffered. The building is owned by the municipality and it is one of the main cultural resources of the town.

Platja d'Aro is, with Castell d'Aro and S'Agaró, part of the municipality of Castell-Platja d'Aro. It is located in the heart of Costa Brava, and it has more than two kilometres of beach and a group of little coves that complement its landscape. This natural environment is excellent to practise nautical sports, hiking and BTT.
The town also gives us an important cultural and architectonic offer, with places like Roman village of Pla de Palol or the historical city centre of Castell d'Aro, declared Cultural Asset of National Interest.
