Sant Antoni beach
This is the main beach of Sant Antoni de Calonge. It may seem that the area is made up of several beaches due to its semicircular shape, but in reality it is a single beach.
Sant Antoni beach is 1.5 kilometres long with fine sand, and as it is located in the urban environment it is very popular, especially with families with children, as it has shallow waters and is very spacious. It also has a large promenade and at one end there is a space for bicycles.
It can be easily reached by car, on foot, by bus and even by boat. It has many services, such as restaurants, lifeguards, parking area, footbaths or sun lounger hire, and it is very good for anchoring and water sports. It is also easily accessible for people with reduced mobility thanks to the ramps and walkways leading to the sand, and has adapted showers and toilets.
It has obtained several quality awards: Q for Tourism Quality, EMAS Quality, ISO 14001, Blue Flag and Commitment to Tourism Quality.
