Beaches and coves | Beaches and coves Lloret de Mar
Sa Caleta cove
Following the Gran beach in Lloret de Mar in the direction to En Plaja castle, just where the promenade ends, we find this small fishing cove where a large number of boats gather during the summer.
This spot also marks the beginning of the coastal path towards Tossa de Mar, which will take us past different coves and nooks such as En Trons cove, Canyelles cove or Morisca cove.
Sa Caleta cove is protected by En Plaja castle, which stands in a privileged enclave above the cliffs that surround it. Its sand, like all the beaches in this part of the Costa Brava, is golden and coarse. The seabed is shallow but visually attractive. This makes it the ideal place for the nearby diving centres to carry out diving baptisms.
It is usually a very busy place. Its surface is shared by bathers, beach umbrellas and boats. It has showers and a beach bar. Pedestrian access is easy, and there is a municipal car park just a few metres away.
