Beaches and coves | Beaches and coves Palamós
Castell beach
Castell beach is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas on the Costa Brava. It is located in the municipality of Palamós, in an area surrounded by pine woods, agricultural land and some farmhouses. At one end of the beach is the impressive Iberian settlement of Castell, an archaeological site of great historical value.
Despite being located far from the town centre of Palamós, the beach has several services. It has a bar, sun lounger and parasol hire, kayak school and lifeguard service. It is accessible for people with reduced mobility, as it has ramps and access walkways. The beach also has a parking area, which is payable in summer.
Due to its characteristics, it is a beach that usually has a high level of occupation.
