Llafranc beach
The municipality of Llafranc is structured around its only beach, which is about 350 metres long and made up mainly of fine sand. At the northern end of the beach there is a space usually occupied by beached fishing boats, and following in the direction of the Sant Sebastià lighthouse, we find the marina of Llafranc.
As it is located in an urban environment, Llafranc beach tends to have a very high occupancy rate. Its characteristics make it a very family-friendly beach, as it has a large number of services such as showers, footbaths, boat hire and lifeguards, as well as being close to bars, restaurants and hotels. Lovers of open-water swimming have a white-water route to make the most of the surroundings.
The beach is accessible for people with reduced mobility and has adapted toilets and showers.
It has been awarded the EMAS, ISO 14001 and Blue Flag quality labels.

Sailor's serenity
Llafranc is one of the most charming towns on the Costa Brava. Together with Calella de Palafrugell and Tamariu, it forms the beautiful coastline of the municipality of Palafrugell.
The main attraction of the municipality is located at its beach, which is large, family-friendly and very pleasant. This area is flanked by the Cipsela promenade, which offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops.
At one end of the bay we find the marina, a point where starts the coastal path that leads to the Sant Sebastià lighthouse, a spectacular spot 169 metres above sea level; one of the most privileged viewpoints on the whole of the Costa Brava.
