Can Comes beach
Can Comes beach is a very wide area of up to 3.9 kilometres in length, located in front of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà.
It stretches from the mouth of the river Muga to the Gola del Fluvià beach. It is usually frequented by families and couples, but it is not usually very busy.
Being close to the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà nature reserve, there are areas that enjoy maximum protection. The space behind the beach dunes is the habitat of various animal species that should not be disturbed.
The rest of Can Comes beach is a large space, perfect for enjoying nature in an environment with little human footprint. Thus, the beach has no services, except for the campsites at both ends.
