Visit Tossa de Mar
Medieval architecture in Costa Brava
Tossa de Mar is one of the most emblematic and photographed towns on the Costa Brava. One of the main reasons for the town's interest is its spectacular fortified mediaeval centre, declared as National Historic-Artistic Monument.
The village is practically isolated from the neighbouring towns due to its rugged location. Thus, its landscape is determined by cliffs, small coves and countless corners of great natural beauty.
This setting is an ideal place to enjoy cultural tourism with a visit to the medieval centre and the Ametllers Roman Village, or active and sports tourism with its routes on foot or by mountain bike. You can also enjoy water activities such as diving, which will allow you to discover the marine life of its crystal-clear waters, full of life and colors.
Additionally, Tossa de Mar offers exquisite local cuisine that blends the flavors of the sea and the mountains, with traditional dishes like "cim i tomba," a fish stew that is a true delight. Strolling through its cobblestone streets, you will find numerous restaurants and taverns where you can taste this and other specialties of Catalan cuisine.
Tossa de Mar is a complete destination that combines culture, nature, sports, and gastronomy in a setting of great beauty.
