Pedrosa cove
Cala Pedrosa is one of the small coves we can find at the south of the town of Tamariu. It is a small and spectacular unspoilt area formed mainly of pebbles, which can only be reached by sea, along the coastal path, or by parking the car on the road leading down to Tamariu and following the path that leads directly to the site.
In a corner of the cove we find an old fishermen's hut that has been adapted to cater for hikers and visitors who want to enjoy a magnificent meal with portions of fresh fish of the day, omelettes, salads or spectacular rice dishes cooked in the open air.

The essence of a fishing village
Tamariu is a small municipality that belongs to Palafrugell where past and present go hand in hand. Its urban centre is made up of a group of narrow streets that gave shape to the old fishing village. Nowadays, Tamariu has a very low population density.
Rocks, vegetation and coarse sandy beaches form the natural landscape of the village. Lovers of active tourism can follow its beautiful and rugged coastline by kayak or boat, or opt for a stroll along its coastal path and discover its magnificent, half-hidden natural spaces, such as Cala Pedrosa.
