Historical city centre of Castell d'Aro
The town centre of Castell d'Aro maintains part of its original historical profile in the streets and houses around its castle and church. This complex was built between the 16th and 18th centuries and has been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest.
It is a very pleasant place with a wealth of history. This space also serves as a stage for the medieval fair that is usually held in August.
Visit Platja d'Aro
In the heart of Costa Brava
Platja d'Aro is, with Castell d'Aro and S'Agaró, part of the municipality of Castell-Platja d'Aro. It is located in the heart of Costa Brava, and it has more than two kilometres of beach and a group of little coves that complement its landscape. This natural environment is excellent to practise nautical sports, hiking and BTT.
The town also gives us an important cultural and architectonic offer, with places like Roman village of Pla de Palol or the historical city centre of Castell d'Aro, declared Cultural Asset of National Interest.
