Sa Cova cove
Very close to the town centre of Platja d'Aro there is Sa Cova cove, a picture-postcard spot. It is a very secluded cove, as it is located under a cliff and surrounded by vegetation. It is accessed via the coastal path that comes from Cala Rovira, and if we follow the path we will find several tunnels that lead us to Cala del Pi.
The Sa Cova cove is mainly made up of coarse sand and is about 55 metres long. Due to its location, it is not usually one of the most congested coves. It has a medium level of occupation.
Visit Platja d'Aro
In the heart of Costa Brava
Platja d'Aro is, with Castell d'Aro and S'Agaró, part of the municipality of Castell-Platja d'Aro. It is located in the heart of Costa Brava, and it has more than two kilometres of beach and a group of little coves that complement its landscape. This natural environment is excellent to practise nautical sports, hiking and BTT.
The town also gives us an important cultural and architectonic offer, with places like Roman village of Pla de Palol or the historical city centre of Castell d'Aro, declared Cultural Asset of National Interest.
