Santa Maria de Palamós
Santa Maria del Mar is the main parish church of the town of Palamós. It was built between the 15th and 16th centuries and belongs to the late Gothic style.
The temple suffered significant damage in different episodes of its history, the last of which occurred during the Civil War.
The church is located near the port and many of Palamós' main tourist and commercial attractions.
