Torre del Rellotge
This small, unique tower is located in Santa Anna street, the busiest shopping area in l'Estartit. Its origins date back to the 19th century, when it was used by fishermen to dye their nets dark and thus improve their fishing conditions.
Currently, the tower is decorated with a work by the local painter Joan Fuster, an artist who focuses mainly on landscapes and works with a seafaring theme.
Visit L'Estartit
The most impressive marine nature reserve
L'Estartit is a magnificent destination to enjoy a few days of active tourism. The fabulous seabed of the Medes islands, a large reserve of marine fauna and flora, is considered one of the most outstanding natural areas of natural interest in the whole of the Mediterranean.
This environment makes l'Estartit a fantastic place to enjoy all kinds of water sports (sailing, scuba diving, kayaking, snorkelling, etc.). The Montgrí Natural Park is also a magnificent place for excursions and visits to the wetlands, the picturesque fortified farmhouses and the beautiful landscapes of the Empordà.
The town centre also has some highly recommended spots and spaces, such as the Punta del Molinet, the marina or Santa Anna street, where most of the town's shops are located. L'Estartit also has an interesting gastronomic offer, with several options to enjoy traditional, Italian or Mexican cuisine, among others.
