Les Barques beach

It is located at the north of the centre of l'Escala. Firstly, it was an space only to tie the boats, until 1962 that was also declared an space for the bathers. Definitely, it was used as a port until they built the current port. Nowadays we can still see some basins where the coastal fishing boats tied in the XVIIIth century. In addition, is also well known because iit is the beach where the popular habaneras singing is performed.
