Platja del Riuet beach
Platja del Riuet beach is the most northerly beach in l'Escala; it is located four kilometres from the town, just past the centre of Sant Martí d'Empúries. The small Vell River that flows into it separates it from the enormous beach of Sant Pere Pescador.
It is a beach of fine sand almost half a kilometre long. It is usually frequented by couples, families and is suitable for naturism. Thanks to its geographical location, it is good for water sports, mainly those that require the action of the wind. It also has several services, such as showers and toilets, parking area, bar area and the possibility of renting sun loungers.
