Illa Mateua cove
Illa Mateua cove is named after the islet at one end of the cove. It is located in the town of l'Escala, at the Punta de Montgó.
It is made up of pebbles and surrounded by several cliffs - it is not advisable to sunbathe too close because of possible landslides. In this beautiful environment you can find a great variety of floral spices.
It is easy to access both by car and on foot. It is a perfect place for scuba diving or snorkelling.
