We will start the excursion to Cadaqués with a visit to the Martin Faixó winery, the only one today in Cap de Creus. This area was covered with vineyards until in 1880 the phylloxera, originating from France, wreaked havoc. The vines were dry and did not recover until 2000!
After the visit, we will go down to the town of Cadaqués and take a 1-hour guided tour of its streets, from the sea to S'iclesi, or the church, located on a hill that dominates the entire town and the beautiful bay.
Then we will have time for lunch, a free walk around the town and a swim, if the weather is good. We will taste the famous and delicious Taps de Cadaqués before returning to Girona.
If we wish, after eating we can visit the Salvador Dalí House-Museum, in Portlligat. An essential excursion for all lovers of the painter!
